Wow: Megan Thee Stallion ensured all eyes were on her as she took to the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Awards at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Tuesday
The performance comes after Megan took to Twitter to blast her ‘joke a** label’ 1501 Certified Entertainment and the ‘greedy a** men’ who run it after being countersued on Monday.
The rapper was referring to 1501 CEO/founder Carl Crawford who claims she still owes him two more 12-track albums and $1M from her ‘collaborations, sponsorships, endorsements, and side engagements’ – according to TMZ.
Megan tweeted: ‘First the man over my label said I don’t make him any money. Now he’s counter suing trying to keep me on his label because he wants to make more money lol! If I ain’t making you no money why not just drop me?
‘Let me go, lol! Greedy a** men. My lawyers asked him for an expense report (money 1501 supposedly has spent on me). Why [did] this grown a** man put his jewelry and chains on there? Lord free me from this joke a** label.

‘I choose not to say nothing back [about] court and address s*** online but I’m getting tired of being painted [as] the bad guy 24/7. The last girl on 1501 mad at this man too!’
The 40-year-old retired MLB player asked a judge to declare the hip-hop stunner’s last record – Something for Thee Hotties From the Archives – did not count as an album because there’s only ’29 minutes of new material.’
‘Megan is well aware any album she makes must include at least 12 new master recordings of studio performances,’ the legal document stated.
And they have to be previously unreleased. Most importantly, 1501 has to approve all the tracks.’
The countersuit came a month after Megan – who’s managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation – sued 1501 (for the second time) to declare Something for Thee Hotties fulfilled the ‘unfair’ contract she signed back in 2018.
‘This is yet another absurd attempt by 1501 to disregard Megan’s album and squeeze more money and more free work out of her for as long as possible,’ Stallion’s attorney Brad Hancock told the site.
‘We will ask the court to protect Megan from this type of abuse.’
1501 Certified Entertainment also reps Erica Banks, D-Raww, Martina Marie, Stunna Bam, and Yung Smoody.
