At first, a Las Vegas family was afraid when they found a stranger in their home, but things quickly turned comical as they realized the man in question had settled in for a nap.
Security cameras captured the moment a man breaks into the family home, looks around the kitchen, and finds a spot to rest before being awakened by police.
The video first shows the man standing outside the house and making his way inside a few minutes later.

The man went in the house and ransacked the kitchen before walking to the living room
He reappears in the kitchen, rummages through things, and then stumbles into a chair in the living room.
The home’s owner, Paul Lemus, told ABC 13 how he and his wife first found the man when they came home the night of September 25.
‘I looked at her, she looked at me and I think I said “oh, no,” maybe a bad word,’ Lemus said, adding that he found his kitchen ransacked by the intruder.
‘I backed up out of the door, closed it slowly and got him up on the camera, so I could keep an eye on what he was doing and called Metro.’

When the police arrived at the home they found the man still sleeping, and failed to wake him on their first try.
After they managed to break his slumber, which lasted about 20 minutes, they briefly struggled with the seemingly confused man before handcuffing him and taking him outside.
‘The officer said he was just intoxicated – extremely intoxicated,’ Lemus told ABC 13.
