Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bob Seger has postponed the rest of his 2017 Runway Tour following a recommendation from his doctor.
The Detroit native said he received orders from a doctor to cancel the rest of his tour due to an urgent medical issue concerning his vertebrae.
When he first made the announcement, reports surfaced that he had a ‘pinched vertebrae in his neck’ leaving him unable to perform.

‘I’m so disappointed to have to suspend the tour as the band is on a great roll,’ the Night Moves singer, 72-year-old, said in a statement.
‘It’s a privilege to play for our amazing fans. Hoping to be back on the road very soon.’
The Silver Bullet Band played their 13th sold-out show of the tour on Thursday, September 28 in Pittsburgh.
Just two days later the lead singer announced that he would be postponing the 14th show of the tour, which was supposed to take place in Columbus.
As of now Segar has said he is going to reschedule all 19 cancelled shows on the tour, and will announce those dates when he has more information.

Any tickets sold for the reschedules concerts will be honored on the new dates.
The tour was first announced in May with a video prominently featuring the words ‘one last time,’ prompting speculation this would be his final tour.
However, he hasn’t announced this himself and recently revealed that the band is releasing a new album called I Knew You When on November 17.
