A little boy who sparked a frantic search in Western Australia after he went missing is now fighting for life in hospital.
Six-year-old Joey was last spotted in the vicinity of Riseley Street, Booragoon in Perth’s south around 4pm on Sunday.
Neighbours found the boy in the backyard of a property several streets away from where he was last spotted more than an hour later.
Police arranged ‘urgent medical assistance’ after Joey was found with critical injuries.

Joey has since been rushed to hospital.
‘A further update will be provided when appropriate to do so,’ a police statement read.
It is believed the blond-haired youngster wasn’t not wearing any clothes and may have difficulty communicating with strangers.
WA Police had urged residents to check their gardens and outbuildings during the desperate search.
