Dani Carvajal’s heart problem will keep the Real Madrid right back out for a minimum two months, according to reports in Spain.
Madrid broke the shock news about Carvajal’s heart problem on the weekend, revealing that the right back had been diagnosed with a ‘viral pericardium infection’.
Initial reports suggested he could be out for up to six weeks but now Spanish paper Marca are claiming that the Spanish international will be out of action for a minimum of two months.

Madrid are set to face a troublesome autumn period, with Carvajal joining Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Theo Hernandez on the treatment table.
Madrid-based Marca report that Carvajal’s heart problem will be very difficult to treat and any medical aid will have to be carefully thought through.
Carvajal’s recovery will be very closely monitored and it is unlikely he will feature again for Madrid before December, meaning he will miss important La Liga and Champions League fixtures.
The 25-year-old will not be able to do any exercise during his layoff and as a result, it is likely that his absence will be prolonged.
Before the news broke, he had played every minute for Zinedine Zidane’s side in La Liga this season and played the whole 90 minutes in their recent Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund.
