The internet has grown suspicious of a Missouri medical office building after one local pointed out it’s odd address and signage.
The unidentified St. Louis resident took to Snapchat to share a photo of the building, which he said he passes every day.
The person comically pointed out the odd address and signage, which seem to generic it’s as if someone made it all up as part of a poorly-thought-out lie.

The front of the low red brick building shows its street address is large vertical numbers above the front doors: 12345.
In one corner, a large lit-up sign announces that name of the establishment: Medical Building. A smaller sign above the doors claims that it is the Surgery Center.
‘I pass this every day and it always seems like someone caught in a lie,’ the Snapchatter who caught the photo wrote before dreaming up a hypothetical conversation.
‘Where do you work?’
‘Oh the… medical… building.’
‘Oh, what’s the address?’
‘1… 2… 3… 4… 5…’
‘Jeez, what do you do there?’
‘It’s the… surgery… center…’
But it is: The Medical Building actually exists in St. Louis, Missouri
Or does it? Though someone joked it looked like a front for a secret government testing site, it actually hosts the South County Surgical Center
When the image was shared on Reddit this week, the incredibly vague identifiers made some Redditors joke that the building can’t possibly be real — or if is, someone did a really lazy job labeling it while hiding what really goes on there.
‘Think you’ve uncovered a front for some secret government testing lab,’ wrote one Redditor.
It actually does exist, though: 12345 West Bend Drive in St. Louis is home to the South County Surgical Center, of the Surgical Care Affiliates.
In fact, there are quite a few Missouri street address with the number 12345, though this appears to be the only one with a strangely-named building.
