Having rekindled their relationship and engagement last year, the duo are inseparable.
But Miley Cyrus, 24, has revealed the details on she ‘had to’ break up with fiance Liam Hemsworth, 27.
During a recent chat show appearance with Howard Stern, The Wrecking Ball singer said, ‘I had to. I don’t like when relationships are two halves trying to make a whole.’

‘So, I don’t think that I have that co-dependency,’ she revealed.
‘I think people that break up and get back together, that’s awesome.
‘You get time to be yourself. You get time to grow up. I think if you’re growing up attached to another person, you never really get solid as your own being,’ Miley added.
The Voice coach and Liam had initially dated for three years, before announcing their engagement first time round in June 2012 – only to split a year later in 2013.
They then went on to rekindle their engagement in early 2016, with Miley previously saying about the couple’s time apart: ‘I didn’t know if that was the end of it or know if we’d be back together again, but knew that wherever I was going, I was on the right path.

Miley also revealed on the show that her stomach churns whenever Liam is cast alongside stunning actresses, before admitting to her unique way of keeping her man in check.
‘I get that little butterfly in my stomach. I know me and I know what our relationship is… so anyone’s gonna feel like,’ she confessed, before admitting: ‘It’s f**king abnormal I think, but my life is abnormal.’
When asked by Stern if she ever checks up on Liam when he is on set, she began to laugh before teasing: ‘I keep my little spies, so I don’t always have to be there.’
After all, Miley in fact did start dating Liam when romance blossomed between them on the set of Nicholas Sparks movie The Last Song back in 2009.

He has since gone on to star opposite blond beauty Jennifer Lawrence, thanks to his role as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games, as well as Kate Winslet, 41, in The Dressmaker – with Liam embarking on steamy scenes with the Titanic star in the 2015 release.
Speaking candidly of her relationship with Liam, Miley went on to reveal how the acting talent was left furious after buying a home in Malibu during one of their break-ups, only to discover she had lived in the property previously.
