Madonna has launched a charitable NFT collection – featuring digital depictions of herself naked, 3D scans of her actual vagina, and videos that show her giving birth to trees, butterflies, and robotic insects.
The singer, 63 – who often shows off her body in raunchy social media pictures – has taken it to the next level with her most recent project – giving fans a detailed, closeup look at her private parts in an explicit art piece that is being sold for charity.
She teamed up with digital artist, graphic designer, and animator Beeple (whose real name is Michael Joseph Winkelmann) to make three NFTs – also known as non-fungible tokens – which leave very little to imagination.
Collectively entitled Mother of Creation, Madonna certainly bares it all in the racy digital art pieces, which are meant to deliver the message that ‘you never know where you are going to find life, and you can never give up hope,’ according to their website.
The first video, called Mother of Nature, features a digitalized version of Madonna, who is sitting completely naked on a metal exam table in an empty laboratory.

The clip begins with vines coming out of the 63-year-old’s vagina, before she then proceeds to give birth to an enormous tree.
Bark, branches, and leaves all grow from her private area. Moss and flowers – which are shaped like vaginas themselves – then begin to cover the tree.
‘My journey through life as a woman is like that of a tree. Starting with a small seed, always pushing against the resistance of the Earth. The endless weight of gravity,’ she could be heard saying throughout the one-minute clip.
‘Scorching heat, pouring rain, and punishing winds. I’ve told myself to be civil so that I won’t break, while predators pick at my fruit and scrape my bark, solve my branches, chop me down, burn me to the ground. They will never destroy my essence nor take my glory nor extinguish my soul.’
‘In a cold laboratory setting, with no sign of life, an opening gives way to a branch that transforms into a full vibrant tree,’ a description on the NFT’s website reads.

‘It pushes against gravity and flowers bloom. The tree may bend or even break, but it continues to recreate and flourish.’
The second clip, entitled Mother of Evolution, features the digitalized version of Madonna – who is once again nude – on top of a rusty old truck.
With her legs spread wide open, butterflies could be seen flying out of her vagina as she recites the lyrics from her song Justify My Love.
‘I don’t want to be your mother. I don’t want to be your sister either. I just want to be your lover. I want to be your baby,’ she says. ‘We can fly.’
According to the description, the NFT touches on ‘the metamorphosis journey of butterflies, which are one of the most beautiful creations in nature, and a sign of hope.’
‘The butterflies are a metaphor for the paradox that the world is burning down in a post-apocalyptic scene, but there is still evidence of life,’ it continues.
‘We continue to give birth, no matter what destruction is going on, no matter what oppression we face.
‘It relays the important message that if you are waiting for the world to be perfect or for your life to be perfect to create art, it will never happen.
She continues: ‘Predators pick at my fruit and scrape my bark, solve my branches, chop me down, burn me to the ground’
‘They will never destroy my essence nor take my glory nor extinguish my soul,’ she concludes in the one-minute video
In a description of the NFT on its website, it explains that the tree ‘pushes against gravity,’ adding, ‘It may bend or even break, but it continues to recreate and flourish’
‘We have to do it, for our own survival in this chaotic, unpredictable world.’
The third and final video, called Mother of Technology, shows the Like a Virgin songstress laying naked in the woods, while metal centipedes crawl out of her genital area.
Moss and flowers – which are shaped like vaginas themselves – cover the tree
‘In my hallucination, I saw my beloved’s flower garden. In my vertigo, in my dizziness, in my drunken haze, whirling and dancing like a spinning wheel,’ she says in the video, reciting a poem by 13th century poet Rumi.
‘I saw myself as the source of existence. I was there in the beginning, and I was the spirit of love. Now I am sober. There is only the hangover and the memory of love and only sorrow.
‘I yearn for happiness, I asked for help, I want mercy. My love says, “Look at me and hear me because I am here just for that.”‘
The robotic bugs descend out of her vagina and make their way into the forest, ‘depicting the way science can also birth light into the world, but only if used with the right consciousness.’

A description of the clip reads, ‘The centipede represents technology – both the life giving-force and the dangers of it, the juxtaposition of dark and light.
‘Technology continues to evolve in the physical, natural and real world; we can do whatever we want, but there are consequences to that. Nature will ultimately win in the end.’
The duo made the NFTs using 3D scans of Madonna, and it took more than a year to complete. An auction for the art is set to open today on SuperRare.
‘When [Beeple] and I decided to collaborate on this project a year ago, I was excited to have the opportunity to share my vision of the world as a mother and an artist with Mike’s own unique point of view,’ Madonna said in a statement.
‘It’s been an amazing journey building this together from an intellectual idea to an emotional story, giving birth to art.
‘I wanted to investigate the concept of creation, not only the way a child enters the world through a woman’s vagina, but also the way an artist gives birth to creativity.’

All proceeds from the sales of the NFTs will be donated to three charities chosen by the popstar and the digital creator, all of which ‘further their missions in supporting mothers across the globe.’
The three charities are The Voices of Children Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting the women and children affected by the war in Ukraine, The City of Joy, which helps women survivors of severe violence, and Black Mama’s Bail Out, which focuses on bailing-out of black mothers and caregivers who are disproportionately incarcerated.
Beeple is well known for making art inspired by pop culture figures, and is credited with ‘bringing the earning power of crypto art to the forefront,’ HyperAllergic reported.
Yesterday, Madonna posted some behind-the-scenes snaps from the creation of the NFTs to her Instagram account.

Speaking about the project in an Instagram video alongside Beeple, she explained: ‘The opening of each video is essentially me giving birth.
‘Whether I am giving birth on a tank in a post-apocalyptic city, or a hospital bed in a very sterile hospital environment, I’m doing what women have been doing since the being of time but on a more existential level, I am giving birth to art and creativity.’
She continued: ‘It’s not often that robot centipedes crawl out of my vagina. I think it’s really important that people know that a lot of thought and conversation went into creating these videos.’
The hitmaker is no stranger to showing off her body, and she has posted numerous nearly-naked snaps to her social media accounts in recent months.
