Footage shows the pair interacting before suddenly Tarran lunges at the officer, connecting with a punch and sending Mr Tam sprawling to the ground.

Tarran then quickly approaches to deliver another blow but Mr Tam regains his footing just in time and dodges the attack.

Following the fracas police prosecutor Sergeant Shaun James rushed into the room and the two policemen manage to restrain the attacker.
