This is the terrifying moment an arsonist set fire to a young mother’s car as her children slept just yards away.
Nataliee Simpson, 25, from Dewsbury Moor in West Yorkshire, said her three sons have been left traumatised after the man smashed the windows of her silver Peugeot and set it alight.
The blaze even spread to nearby hedges, which are attached to the family home.
Video footage of the attack shows the car burst into flames on the quiet street.

Ms Simpson said the blaze on Tuesday night last week followed a recent spate of car fires in the area which have been done ‘out of spite’ due to ongoing unrest in the community.
The full-time mother said: ‘My children’s school uniforms, pram and birth certificates were in the car at the time and have been destroyed.
Her eldest son Dylan, seven, witnessed the fire and has been waking up screaming after having nightmares.
She said: ‘He came out and saw the fire and ever since he’s had trouble sleeping.
‘I can’t sleep either and when I finally do, I’m woken up by Dylan screaming. It makes you feel unsafe in your own home.’
Another car was also set on fire on the same street on the same night, and police have been investigating.
Ms Simpson, who also has four-year-old Zack and Harris, one, says the culprit ‘doesn’t deserve the oxygen they breathe.’

She said: ‘There has been an ongoing dispute in the area and as a result people’s cars have been set on fire. It’s not been anything to do with me so it just feels even more senseless.
‘My baby’s first pair of shoes were destroyed after he only got them days before. Dylan’s school uniform was in there, as well as their birth certificates.
‘I’ve been left having to borrow money to buy a new pram and getting taxis to take my kids to school.
‘I’m a full time mum and it’s now approaching Christmas. How could someone do this to children?’
