Scrap the baked beans and oatmeal – in one newly-erected tent on the top of the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles guests can indulge in toasted marshmallow s’mores topped with 24-karat gold leaf. The famed Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles is bringing a touch of the ‘great outdoors’ to its Veranda Suite terrace with the first urban glamping experience.

The luxury spot’s expansive tent, measuring 16ft wide and more than 10ft high, features a queen-size bed, a crystal chandelier, marble lamps, fur rugs, and antique nightstands. 

Out on the terrace, oversized lounge furniture surrounds a fireplace, and outdoor dining for eight completes the glamping experience. A glamping tasting menu comes in at £141 ($185) per person, with treats including caviar, wagyu beef and campfire s’mores made with 24 karat gold leaf.
