Police are today hunting for a 14-year-old schoolgirl who has been missing for five days amid concerns she has run away with a man nearly twice her age.
Jazmyn Richardson, of Nailsea, North Somerset, who has never gone missing before, was last seen on Thursday.
Friends and relatives along with Avon and Somerset Police are now growing increasingly worried about her safety.
And they believe she could be with a 27-year-old man named Kyle Richards in the North Somerset area. A picture on his Facebook page shows him posing in a baseball cap and tracksuit, sticking up his middle finger at the camera.
A photo of Jazmyn shared on Facebook by her father Gaz Richardson on Friday has been shared 8,500 times, while 2,800 people have set up a group to find out more about her whereabouts.
Dozens of people have written on the Facebook group’s page saying they have been out searching for Nailsea Secondary School year ten pupil.
Jazmyn’s distraught family say they have had some leads which police are aware of, but they are growing increasingly desperate for her to come home safely.

Her auntie Caroline Richardson wrote on Sunday: ‘Jazmyn, if you’re able to read this, we love you.
‘Mom is worried so much, your little sister is so upset, she needs her big sister. You are in no trouble, everyone wants you home safe.’
Jazmyn’s family say they are desperate for her to return home safely
Jazmyn’s stepmother, Hannah-Louise Noel, said she not gone missing before and the family were desperate for her to return home safely.
‘No-one seems to know where she is, including her friends. She has nothing with her. No bag, no money, no phone,’ she said.
‘Jazmyn, we are out of our minds with worry. Please get in touch, let us know you are safe. Come home. You’re not in trouble, we just want you home safely.’
Jazmyn is 5ft 3in and very slim, with red/auburn hair and a septum piercing. She is believed to have been wearing a black hoodie rather than school uniform.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said today: ‘We’re renewing our appeal for missing Nailsea teenager Jazmyn Richardson.
‘Jazmyn, 14, has not been seen since approximately 7.30pm last Thursday and we’re concerned for her welfare.
‘She is described as white, of slim build with red/auburn coloured hair. She may be in the company of 27-year-old Kyle Richards.
‘Kyle is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins, of slim build with short brown hair. It’s believed they may be in the North Somerset area.’
