But Lea Michele revealed that she once stole toilet paper from the White House in real life during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.
The actress, 31, revealed she was given the honor of going to the political residence during her time starring as Rachel Berry in Fox musical series Glee.

Lea explained: ‘We had the pleasure of going to the White House when I was on Glee, when Obama was there, and it was such an amazing time.
‘I was really trying to pinch myself, and say, “Okay, remember every moment”. Cause so much, you know, especially with Glee, there were so many amazing things happening.
‘In that one weekend, we were on Oprah, and we were at the White House, and we were performing.’
The visit Lea was referring to took place in April 2010, when cast members of Glee played the White House Easter Egg Roll.

‘So, it’s hard to kind of, you know, remember every little moment,’ Lea said to Jimmy.
Jimmy agreed: ‘You wanna enjoy every second.’
‘Exactly!’ said Lea. ‘And at one point I went to the bathroom, and I noticed that the toilet paper has the White House seal on it, and I was like, “Gotta take this! Gotta take it!”
‘And I just started taking the toilet paper, and I stuffed it down my pants and I still have it to this day!’

‘Nobody busted you?’ said Jimmy, laughing incredulously.
‘No!’ said Lea, although she admitted: ‘It was scary leaving with that toilet paper.’
The Bronx-born actress joked: ‘I mean, it might as well have been, like, gold. I was so scare- I was, like, sweating. I was like: “I stole it”.’
