In an Instagram post, the dance team made it clear that Cosmo is actually their mascot and not a member of the team.
This is not the first time that Cosmo has set the internet ablaze. Last year, a video of Cosmo and the Cougarettes busting it out during BYU’s game against Toledo went viral and has been viewed over 2million times.
The 2017 video currently has almost 200,000 views on Instagram.
The BYU mascot is currently bringing a lot more positivity to the school than the football team is.
BYU lost Friday against Boise State 24-7, bringing their record to a dismal 1-5 this season.
