A Florida teen was arrested for breaking into a female neighbor’s home and raping her, before asking if he could perform yard work to make up for the assault.

Timothy Adam Walding, 18, of Boynton Beach, is currently booked in Palm Beach County Jail on three counts of sexual assault with a weapon, one count of burglary and one count of false imprisonment.

The victim, who hasn’t been named, says she woke up in the middle of the night to find Walding ‘hovering over her’ wearing a mask.

Walding ‘then placed his hand tight over her mouth and told her not to scream while holding a knife to her neck.’

The teen reportedly tied the mother-of-two up to the bed and proceeded to rape her. After the assault was over, the victim says Walding stayed and talked to her.

He insisted that she knew who he was and eventually identified himself by taking off his mask.

‘You really should deadbolt your door because I didn’t really want to do this, but I had to do it,’ Walding told the woman, according to the arrest report.

Eventually, Walding untied the woman so she could go outside for a cigarette.

He then asked her ‘if he could make this up to her by doing some yard work or by fixing something around her house.’

She said ‘no’.

He also said he didn’t want to kill her because his own mother passed away when he was 12 and he ‘could not imagine leaving two kids without a mother’.

He said he was joining the military so ‘it would not be awkward’ living next to each other.

Walding went back to his home after about an hour and a half, at which point the victim went back inside to call for help.
