A New Jersey house whose current owners were scared off the property by a creepy letter writer known as ‘The Watcher’ is up for sale again.
Derek and Maria Broaddus bought the Westfield home in 2014 for $1,355,657, but they didn’t move in after receiving the first of four letters from the anonymous stalker.
The family has claimed that the letter writer requested information about their children.
The couple, who have young children, say they can’t live in the house because of the letters, which they say came from someone with a ‘mentally disturbed fixation’ on the home.
They say they received the last letter earlier this year. Westfield police have previously said there’s no suspect in the case.
The six-bedroom house, which went up for sale on Monday for $1,125,000, was previously listed in March 2016.

The 3,920-square-foot residence also comes complete with four bathrooms.
Back in March, the couple had plans to demolish the home, but they were stopped by town officials
The family then tried to sue the town of Westfield after its planning board rejected their plan to raze the house and subdivide the land so they could build two houses. They said they can’t live in the house because of the letters.
‘My clients are good people. They’re caught in a situation they didn’t ask for,’ James Foerst, a Millburn attorney representing the owners, said at the time.

There are stainless steel appliances in the kitchen that also includes a breakfast bar and beautiful wood cabinetry
Inside the classic home, the family room features a fireplace inside. The space can open up to the sun porch nearby
In one correspondence with the family, the stalker asks whether the new family brought him the ‘young blood’ that he requested.
‘I have be [sic] put in charge of watching and waiting for its second coming; my grandfather watched the house in the 1920s and my father watched in the 1960s,’ one letter read.
‘It is now my time; Why are you here? I will find out; Now that they have it to flaunt it, they pay the price…’
There’s also four bathrooms inside the spacious residence, as the master suit comes with his-and-her sinks
It went on: ‘I asked the Woods to bring me young blood.’
One of the other three letters said: ‘Who am I? I am the Watcher and have been in control of [the home] for the better part of two decades now.
‘The Woods family turned it over to you it was their time to move on and kindly sold it when I asked them to.’
Residents of the neighborhood joined together in protest of the Broadduses’ lawsuit against the town, arguing that the smaller lots would be out of character for the community.
