Strictly Come Dancing bosses are allegedly ‘hoping to signup’ Kym Marsh and Tony ‘Donkey’ Adams for the upcoming series.
The BBC one series will be returning later this year, and although the line-up is yet to be confirmed by the shows producers, the Coronation Street star, 46, and the former footballer, 55, are said to be in advanced talks.
The upcoming series will be the first in three years to be broadcast without Covid measures, which forced bosses to introduce restrictions including ‘bubbles’ for training and limited audience numbers.

A source for the show told The Sun on Sunday: ‘This is shaping up to be a fantastic year for Strictly. They are thrilled to have brought a footballing legend of Tony’s stature to the table.
‘And they are pulling out all the stops to sign Kym as well. She has been a target for them for years, and while it is not a done deal, they are very hopeful.
‘She has her offer and is considering her options.’
MailOnline has contacted BBC representatives for comment.
