Freida Pinto looked every inch the doting mother she is as she held on to baby son Rumi-Ray while running errands in Los Angeles on Monday.
The actress, 37, slipped into form-fitting khaki leggings and an orange top as she huddled her eight-month-old in a baby carrier.
The screen star sported a chic panama hat to shield herself from the Californian sun, and threw on a pastel striped button-up shirt to bring the outfit together.

She paired the look with some simple blue and white trainers, carrying a large tote bag as well as a small navy handbag for the outing.
Freida wore her glossy raven locks tied back, and went makeup-free as she walked about, highlighting her naturally beautiful visage.

In December 2021, Freida opened up about her postpartum journey in the hope of helping other new mothers.
In a vulnerable post on her Instagram, the star shared: ‘The Postpartum journey has been one of the most intense and wild rides I have ever been on.’
She added: ‘It felt like the months being pregnant and even childbirth were little appetizers to this grand main course.
‘Preparation was so key to this life altering phase of mothering and I feel so proud, relieved and blessed to have walked into it with knowledge, research and support.’

The Indian actress shared a list of things she wanted to normalise for mothers who are preparing for their postpartum journey.
‘What does it really mean to be postpartum “prepared”,’ she penned. ‘It certainly doesn’t mean you won’t feel sad, lonely, frustrated and helpless at times. Or that you will be wonderfully rested and have no sleep deprivation,’ she started her list.
Freida continued: ‘Or that you won’t snap at your well intentioned partner and break down in tears.
‘Or that your nipples won’t be sore and that for some of us our toes will curl every time our little baby birds open up their sweet mouths to latch.

‘Or that you will never doubt your milk supply or for some, be worried about being judged for choosing the formula route.
‘Or that your vagina and the rest of your ladyparts will look and feel exactly the same again as before.
‘Or that your energy levels will always match the nonstop effort you have to put into nourishing that little life.’
The actress then stated that the healthcare system can make new mothers feel ‘abandoned’.
She wrote: ‘The preparedness is more so to know how best to tackle all of this and to not feel abandoned by a health care system that focuses so much on your pregnancy and birth and somehow disappears when you are most vulnerable and in the most challenging phase of your life.’
Freida had a silver lining in her message, adding that no matter what new mothers are going through, it will eventually get better.
The post read: ‘Most importantly it REALLY DOES GET BETTER and we learn so much about ourselves and gosh we can truly acknowledge and celebrate the goddesses that we are!’
The star said that her goal is to normalise ‘conversations about the challenges and changes brought on during the postpartum period.’
She also added: ‘Changes that need to be better understood, accepted and not shamed. And challenges that can be managed so much better with just a little extra help.’
Freida married Cory, 34, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, during the coronavirus pandemic.

During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, she expressed that although they had plans for a beautiful ceremony, the onset of COVID changed their views.
‘When we got engaged we thought we’d have this most magical wedding…but then COVID happened and it’s still happening and we just realized we’d be planning this for the rest of our lives and never doing it,’ she said.
The star revealed that she and Corey decided to tie the knot in an unceremonious manner in an effort to keep their stress levels low.
‘So we decided one day to go to the Honda Center in Anaheim. Honestly, I have to say if any of you have planned a wedding, you probably know this, I do not want stomach ulcers from planning my own wedding,’ she recalled.
