An Etihad flight from Abu Dhabi made an emergency landing in Adelaide after the cabin’s smoke detector went off.
The EY450 flight was bound for Sydney before it made the emergency landing at about 4.50am Saturday.
More than 300 passengers were taken into the terminal after the smoke alarm went off.

Metropolitan Fire Services were called after reports of a fire, however it is unknown where smoke was seen in the cabin.
‘A warning light went off within the cockpit … the aircraft will now be inspected by engineers and ground crew,’ an Etihad spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
The aircraft is currently undergoing safety checks at Adelaide Airport while passengers wait for further flight details.
