State of Origin Game 3: NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet trolls Queensland rival Annastacia Palaszczuk

Cheeky moment Dominic Perrottet brutally trolls Annastacia Palaszczuk ahead of the State of Origin decider over ‘inferior’ Brisbane bridge

Dominic Perrottet has fired a cheeky swipe at Queensland counterpart Annastacia Palaszczuk ahead of the State of Origin decider.

The NSW Premier is in enemy territory to cheer on the Blues as they take on the Maroons at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.

He spent the afternoon wandering around the city in his Blues jersey before braving the Caxton Hotel, which is a pre-match tradition for Maroons tragics.

‘I’m dropping into the Caxton before the game to have a drink with Annastacia,’ Mr Perrottet told Nine News.

Annastacia Palaszczuk caught up with rival premier Dominic Perrottet for a pre-match drink before heading to the State of Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium

He then quipped: ‘There’s not much happening around Brisbane.’

‘I hadn’t heard of the Stony Bridge. I had to google it just to make sure it was there.’

It comes two weeks after  Mr Perrottet photoshopped himself into a photo of the Stony Bridge lit up in blue after NSW’s thumping of the Maroons in game two to level the series.

The two premiers briefly put rivalries aside as they caught up for a pre-match drink at the Caxton Hotel.

If Queensland wins, the Sydney Harbour Bridge turns Maroon. Here’s cheers to that,’ Ms Palaszczuk captioned.
