A pet owner mistakenly gave a cat anti-anxiety medication and locked it in a room to recover only to find out five days later it was actually his neighbour’s kitty.
Clarke Gayford documented his roommate’s hilarious story on Twitter this week.
‘Omg (sic) so he told vet it did seem to be acting strange so vet prescribed it anti-anxiety meds. My mate has kidnapped and been drugging a kitteh (sic),’ Clarke wrote on Twitter.

Clarke’s roommate noticed his cat was acting strange after it returned home one day so he took it to the vet.
The vet prescribed the cat anti-anxiety medication and recommended it be locked in a room for five days to recover.
But five days later Clarke’s roommate got a shock when his actual cat walked in.
It was at that moment he realised he had drugged and locked up a stranger’s cat.
It turns out the random cat was his neighbour’s, and a completely different gender to his pet kitty.
The neighbour sent a message to Clarke’s roommate later in the week letting him know the drugging had done no harm.
