Chelsea have made a £40m offer for Paris St Germain centre-back Presnel Kimpembe and are back in talks with Sevilla over Jules Kounde, who is a target for Barcelona too.
Thomas Tuchel is aiming to bolster his defence this summer and has turned his attentions to the French centre-back after securing the signing of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
PSG are believed to be willing to sell Kimpembe for somehwere in the region of £42milion.

Juventus are also in discussions with the Ligue 1 champions over a move for the 26-year-old, who has 28 caps for France.
He has worked with Thomas Tuchel before during the German’s two-and-a-half-year spell in charge at the Parc des Princes.
Following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen – and with Cesar Azpilicueta also keen on a move away – Tuchel is in need of centre-back reinforcements.
Kimpembe has spent his whole career at PSG, having joined at the age of nine, and has made 221 appearances for the club to date.
