Katie Price was forced to cancel a show in Manchester at the last minute after she received an anonymous threat which said her son Harvey’s face would be ‘smashed in’ unless she paid £50,000.
The blackmailers also threatened said they would release details on an affair that her husband Kieran Hayler, 30, was enjoying with her friend, The Sun revealed.
The email, sent to her management company, demanded that the money be dropped off at an address in Romford, East London – and that an Armani suit should also be included as part of the deal.

Ms Price told The Sun: ‘I’m terrified. This is clearly a blackmail threat, and I need to be at home with my family.’
A source close to Katie added: ‘This is all the more horrifying for Katie because she has experienced threats against her children before.
‘On three separate occasions she has had to get the police involved.
‘The thought of anyone harming the kids sickens her to the core, and until the police have caught the perpetrator, she feels she just can’t leave them.
‘Katie is really shaken by this and is hoping against hope that the police catch this person as soon as possible.’

The sourced added that her children would be ‘living in fear’ until they find out who is responsible for the twisted threat.
Sussex Police are said to be taking the threat ‘extremely seriously’ and have told the family to stay together at all times.
Katie Price revealed earlier on Saturday that she would not be making the show, although the precise details as to why she cancelled were not revealed until later.
Fans wished her well, but some were annoyed at the eleventh-hour cancellation, having set off for Manchester or not being able to cancel hotel reservations.
Her agent declined to comment earlier on the matter when approached by MailOnline.

The star posted a message on social media saying: ‘Unfortunately I have been left with no choice than to postpone my show in Manchester this evening due to an urgent family matter involving the police and one of my children.
‘For all my fans and everyone that has bought tickets to tonight’s show I am sorry to let you down last minute. This is something out of my control.
‘Please contact the box office for more information. KP xxx’.
Her event was due to consist of Price talking about her life, as well as performing her new single, I Got U and a meet-and-greet with fans.
The show still had large numbers of tickets available.
Fans gave a mixed reaction of both sympathy and frustration to the news on social media, with sympathy and frustration.
One left an upset emoji and said: ‘just on our way to Manchester’.
Another added: ‘I’m sure my hotel will accept this when I try to cancel my room! Oh it’s less than 24 hour notice..!! C**p’.
