Virginia State University in on lockdown after a shooting on campus reportedly leaves one person in critical condition
University police tweeted on Saturday night ‘Shooting on Campus’
The university’s website says the Petersburg, Virginia school was celebrating the final day of it homecoming.
According to CBS affiliate WTVR 6, one person was shot and rushed to VCU Medical Center in serious condition.
VSU police said they are searching for a possible suspect they describe as a black male wearing a white jersey with blue number 23.
