Beauty and the Geek’s Aaron and Karly win $100,000 cash prize

Aaron Seeto and Karly Fisher have won Beauty And the Geek.

The pair, both 30, were crowned the winners by host Sophie Monk on Wednesday night’s nail-biting season finale.

Aaron and Karly beat out competitors Christopher and Bri and Anthony and Tegan to take home the whopping $100,000 in prize money.

Beauty and the Geek’s Aaron Seeto and Karly Fisher (pictured) have been voted as winners of the finale as the pair take home $100,000 in prize money on Wednesday night

The pair became immediately overwhelmed by emotion after the win.

‘I don’t, I don’t usually get emotional, but at times like this it’s needed,’ Aaron said, with tears welling-up in his eyes.

Karly went on to say her heart has been ‘cracked wide open’ after the win.

“It’s real. It wasn’t a dream. That happened. Thank you, guys, so much for believing in us,’ Karly added.

Arron spoke of his huge surge in confidence with him even revealing to the geeks and beauties his ‘biggest insecurity’ – his false front teeth.

‘Going in I was so nervous, I have had so much self-doubt, I didn’t believe in myself and now that’s all kicked to the curb,’ Aaron said.

‘I’ve just become so much more confident between the person I was before to the person I am now,’ he added.

Aaron said he would be using the money to fix his teeth with extensive dental work.

The three remaining couples were forced to make a pitch on the show before ex-contestants voted on who should be crowned the winners.

Karly said often people found her to be ‘too much’ but Aaron allowed her to be herself since the pair first met.

‘I think the hardest thing for me personally would be coming into this and being too much. I didn’t want to scare you [Aaron],’ Karly said, honestly.

Aaron reflected on his loneliness saying he felt ‘lost’ and his ‘time was up’ before he entered the competition.

‘I felt like I was lost. I was 30. I thought my time was up. Every time I would look in the mirror I would just see average Aaron. Like, nothing special,’ he said.

He admitted he was thrown a really big lifeline on Beauty and the Geek.

‘Before all this I was shy, I was so awkward,’ he said.

‘Karly, I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. You’ve just come into my life and impacted it in the most positive way possible.’

Aaron said now when he looks in the mirror he feels ‘awesomely amazing’ before adding he sees ‘hotness’ and ‘sexiness’ in the mirror.

Aaron took the lead from the usually confident Karly, who was on the verge of a panic attack.

‘You ok, Karls. I love you so much,’ Aaron yelled to her. ‘You’re going to be ok. I believe in you.’

Karly screamed on her way down as Aaron made a more composed slide down the rope.

The pair finally landed in the pool in the hotel to a round of applause from their teammates.

‘I am so proud of you,’ Aaron said.
