Manchester United are said to be plotting a move for Everton striker Richarlison, according to reports in Brazil.

United are said to be in the market for a striker during the summer transfer window as Edinson Cavani is due to leave the club once his contract expires. 

Therefore, the Red Devils have identified Richarlison – who has two years remaining on his contract at Everton – as a potential target.

Manchester United are said to be assessing Richarlison’s situation at Everton as the club’s potential relegation could see him opt for a move away from Goodison Park this summer. 

According to Goal Brazil, United have been keeping tabs on Richarlison for the last two seasons after being impressed with his goal return at Everton.  

Richarlison has become one of Everton’s biggest assets given his impressive goal scoring tally for the Toffees.  

However, he has struggled for form this season – having scored just four goals in 22 Premier League appearances so far.

When previously asked about his future at Everton, RIcharlison told Goal: ‘Look, I have two more years on my contract here.

‘It’s hard to talk about leaving, because I have great affection for Everton, I have music, I have everything here.  

‘It’s very complicated to talk about leaving, I’m not prepared for this moment, but the we never know tomorrow.

‘We have to be aware and prepared for everything. Let’s make this season there so that, in the next one, we can see what will happen.’ 

Should Richarlison decide to leave the club this summer, he will have a range a clubs to choose from.
