The Block is rocked by another CHEATING scandal after Sharon and Ankur guess wine recipe and walk away with $50k worth of prizes
The Block’s Sharon and Ankur were accused of Googling a wine recipe in order to win $50k worth of prizes during a wine-making challenge on Tuesday night.
The drama unfolded when teams where whisked away by helicopter to Levantine Hill Estate where they were asked to recreate the winery’s 2015 Samantha’s Paddock blend.
Despite the teams struggling to get the blend correct, Sharon and Ankur managed to whip-up a near identical blend in just 10 minutes.

Suspicions were raised after the challenge when Omar came to the helicopter to tell Ryan and Rachel he was told the blend was almost perfect.
The move prompted Ryan to ask Ankur about the blend, saying: ‘Mate, I went and tasted your wine, it tasted so close.’
‘Yeah, because I’m a p***head,’ Ankur replied, trying to take the sting out of the comments.
Ryan kept probing further, asking him how he managed to get the identical blend put together so quickly.

‘When 2015 came out, I drunk it every day in Covid,’ Ankur shot back.
Sharon then chimed in and said Levantine Hill Estate sponsored Fashion Week, with her getting a number of freebies.
‘They sponsored fashion week and we just got them all,’ Sharon said. ‘I went to like 10 different shows and every time they gave me two bottles.’
After the conversation ended, Sharon and Ankur gave each other a wink.
‘Smart,’ Ankur said, pointing to himself. ‘Yeah, it’s all you honey,’ Sharon replied.

In a piece-to-camera, Ryan made his accusations clear.
‘Thoughts were Sharon and Anks obviously had to have Googled the recipe,’ Ryan said, clearly annoyed.
‘I wanted to know how close they were and I Googled, and it [the recipe] popped straight-up. Surely these guys must have Googled it,’ he added.

Ryan mentioned the pair had so much confidence following the challenge.
