Heidi Klum is opening up about how tough it let her 18-year-old daughter Leni go across the country to New York City for college.

The 49-year-old supermodel appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday, revealing that was Leni’s first day of college.

The America’s Got Talent judge revealed to Corden and photographer Dave LaChappele that she gets upset when Leni doesn’t call her back.

‘It’s crazy, today she had her first day in college. This weekend, she just moved in, and I call her. Normally she picks up, but then three, four hours I don’t hear anything,’ Klum revealed.

‘And already, my head is going “Where is she? What is she doing? Why is she not answering?” Already the worrying is starting,’ she added.

She admitted the whole process of her kids growing up is ‘hard,’ starting with their first vehicle.

‘First they have a car and they drive, and that’s hard. Then they move across the country, and that’s harder. I’m like non-stop scared,’ she said.

Corden asked how long she waits before calling her daughter again, when she hasn’t called back.

‘This weekend, I called every two hours and I’m like, why don’t you just call me back, you know?’ Klum admitted.

‘Now I want the number of the roommate, so I can bug the roommate if she doesn’t pick up,’ she added, which Corden admitted was, ‘a very good idea.’

Klum’s plan didn’t stop there, though, adding, ‘And then I’m going to get the number from the neighbor so I can call them.’

The outing came just days after Klum revealed why she didn’t participated in a Hulu documentary series about the Victoria’s Secret brand.

Klum had been a Victoria’s Secret Angel for many years, telling Variety why she declined being interviewed for Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons.

‘They asked me if I wanted to be part of it. And I was like, “If you’re looking for a negative story, you’re barking up the wrong tree because I had the most wonderful time there,”‘ Klum explained.

She added that she had watched the first episode of the docuseries, but added, ‘hardly anyone I knew was on that show. I didn’t know who all of those people were,’ adding her time at the brand was the, ‘best time ever.’
