‘He’s lucky to be alive’: Sam and Billie Faiers’ estranged father Lee, 60, ‘is hospitalised after suffering a heart attack’
Sam and Billie Faiers’ estranged dad is ‘lucky to be alive after suffering a heart attack’ it was reported on Thursday.
Both Billie, 32, and Sam, 31, have remained estranged from their biological father Lee, 60, since he and their mother Suzie Wells split when they were toddlers.
According to The Sun, Lee, 60, was rushed to hospital last week and the sisters ‘remain in the dark.’

A source told the publication: ‘Lee is lucky to be alive. His family were terrified and thought they were going to lose him. It’s been a big wake-up call.’
They continued: ‘Lee loves his girls. Whether they speak or not, they’re still his daughters.
‘You can argue about silly things, but the heart attack made him realise life is very precious and it can be taken away at any point. You only get one life.’

Last year, Billie said that her ‘strong’ and ‘amazing’ mother saved her and her sister Sam from ‘very damaging’ situations.

As they approached adolescence their stepfather Dave Chatwood was jailed for 12 years over drug supply and firearm offences.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Billie said: ‘Obviously it was horrible and really sad, but Mum held it together so well that me and Samantha were always OK.
‘At the ages we were it could have been very damaging, but my mum was amazing. We’re really lucky that she is so strong and she stayed strong throughout that situation.’
Despite their estrangement from their biological father the sisters still had a close bond with Lee’s late mother, their nanny Wendy.

The sisters were left devastated when their beloved Nanny Wendy passed away aged 77 after battling pneumonia in January 2021.
