Christmas gift guide: Neiman Marcus’ 2017 Fantasy Gifts

Neiman Marcus’ 2017 Fantasy Gifts (part of the department store’s annual holiday catalog) has something for every budget. Every millionaire’s budget, that is.

Every year, the chain includes a ‘wish list’ of ‘the world’s most imaginative gifts’ for the holidays — but that kind of imagination comes with a seriously hefty price tag.

This year’s offerings include a $150,000 trip to France for a private vineyard experience, an $888,375 pair of ‘his and hers’ Rolls-Royce sports cars, and a New Year’s Eve party in New York City that costs a whopping $1.6 million.

Something special: Neiman Marcus has released its annual gift guide, including the new 2017 Fantasy Gifts

A bargain! The priciest one is a New Year's Eve party overlooking Times Square for $1.6 million

The Neiman Marcus holiday book includes plenty of ‘reasonably-priced’ items, too — but it’s the store’s Fantasy Gifts section that raises the most eyebrows every year.

Recent gifts form years past have included a $1.5 million Cobalt Valkyrie-X private plane (2016), $65,000 ‘garden peacocks’ made of silk (2014), a $150,000 falconry kit (2013), a $100,000 hen house with ten hens (2012), a $75,000 yurt (2011), and a $1.5 million Dale Chihuly pool installation (2010).

Though most of this year’s Fantasy Gifts would be considered less niche than a falconry kit or a hen house, they’re no less expensive.

The biggest-ticket item for 2017 is a private New Year’s Eve party for 300 above Times Square — which will a buyer back $1.6 million.

There’s only one of these available, as the party will be held on the roof of the Knickerbocker hotel, which overlooks the Times Square ball.

Fast cars, faster bankruptcy: There are also Rolls-Royce convertibles up for grabs. Purchased as a 'his and hers' pair, they're over $885,000

Included in the prize is 150 premier rooms so guests can stay the night, a DJ, and dinner. It’s unclear if drinks are also included.

And while the purchase is certainly an extravagant one, buyers of Fantasy Items can feel a bit less guilty knowing that a portion of each sale benefits charity. From the New Year’s Eve party, $80,000 will be donated to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation.

The next-priciest gift is a pair of ‘his and hers’ specially-commissioned Rolls-Royce Dawn Drophead coupés in blue and orange for $885,375. For the more budget-conscious millionaire, the cars can also be purchased separately: the blue one costs $439,625, while the orange is $445,750.

Some jewelry is also up for grabs for $300,000. In addition to taking home a Stephen Webster-designed piece using a 7.2 carat emerald, buyers will get a trip to Zambia for a tour of Gemfields’ emerald mine (and a two-night stay nearby), as well as a jaunt to London afterward to see the designer’s studio.

Beautified: One of the less-expensive options is a $60,000 trip to Paris, including a spa day and a year's supply of Sisley products
