Antonio Conte admitted confidence was low when Chelsea went 2-1 down against Watford but praised the desire of his players after they staged a late comeback to secure a 4-2 victory.
Chelsea went ahead through Pedro’s stunner but conceded twice either side of half time as Watford turned the match on it’s head.
Conte responded by bringing on Willian and Michy Batshuayi and the substitutions changed the game as the Belgian netted Chelsea’s equaliser before Cesar Azpilicueta nodded them in front.

Batshuayi them made the game safe in injury time by capitalising on a mistake from Watford defender Miguel Britos to seal the three points.
‘We played a team in a good moment,’ Conte said after the match. ‘They were above us in the table and I think to come back with this result is not simple – we have played three games in seven days.
‘But I think we showed good form. It was a good performance – it’s not simple after conceding in the last minute of the first half and then to go down in the first part of the second half. At that moment our confidence was low.
‘But my players showed me great desire to fight and change the situation. The commitment is right and now we have to recover quickly (N’Golo) Kante, (Danny) Drinkwater and (Victor) Moses.’
On Batshuayi’s double, the Italian added: ‘It was good for Michy to score two goals. I’m very happy for him. He has to continue to work in this way.
‘It’s always important to think for the team, not for himself and the two goals were very important for the team’.
