Chris Evans was named as People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2022 on Monday on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
The 41-year-old actor accepted the award remotely from the set of his upcoming film after being introduced by former title holder Dwayne Johnson, 50.
Chris was asked by Dwayne to say something sexy after gaining the title.

‘Go vote tomorrow,’ Chris said while looking into the camera ahead of the US midterm elections on Tuesday.
Stephen, 58, earlier joked that Chris was a finalist for the title along with show guest John Oliver, 45, before announcing the winner.
‘He’s not even here! This is bulls***. Recount! Stop the steal. He’s not even here!,’ John jokingly protested from the audience before walking away.
Colbert announced People magazine’s selection for the second consecutive year.

Chris takes on the Sexiest Man Alive title that was last bestowed in November 2021 to actor Paul Rudd, 53.
Other recent winners include: Michael B. Jordan, John Legend, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Ryan Reynolds, Channing Tatum and David Beckham.
People magazine named its first Sexiest Man Alive in February 1985 when it picked then 29-year-old Mel Gibson for the honor.
