The woman works up a sweat in the 50-minute class while regularly returning to the cubbie holes
She is first seen putting her gym bag into the cubbie holes at 9:25 when she makes her first theft.
She raid a number of patron’s bags of cash while blending in like any other gym-goer with a purple single, black sports bra and black leggings.
The woman works up a sweat in the 50-minute class, going back to visit the cubbie holes and taking more items.
‘You can see the way she works around the room, when she goes over, she’s got her towel so she kind of covers up what she’s doing,’ gym worker Ryan Clark told 7 News.
The opportunist is recorded leaving the gym without saying goodbye to others and making off with cash and valuables
She moves back and forward between the cubbie holes while wiping her face with a towel before rejoining the group.
Eventually the opportunist is recorded leaving the gym without saying goodbye to others.
‘Got what she wanted and she’d gone.’
Police are now on the hunt for the woman and anyone with any information is urged to call CrimeStoppers.
