Red carpets are typically reserved for a battle of the gowns, yet Thursday night saw a Halloween costume face-off.
Stars of the showbiz circuit were out in force for the Kiss House Party event at London’s SSE Arena in Wembley with an array of incredible costumes hitting the scene – led by Louisa Johnson, Olivia Buckland and Rita Ora, who dressed as Britney Spears, a Gothic mermaid and Poison Ivy respectively.
The X Factor 2015 winner looked incredible as she replicated the hitmaker’s legendary 2001 MTV Video Music Awards ensemble, in which she wowed in a scanty look with a snake draped around her neck, while Olivia was dressed as a creepy mermaid and Rita rocking the Batman character’s trademark look.
The ladies led a bevy of stars on the red carpet, yet their ensembles undoubtedly trumped their fellow revellers due to the sheer dedication of the incredible looks – with Louisa’s a near replica of Britney’s famed look.
Louisa opted to channel another teenage pop star when she wore a skimpy bralet and hot-pants combination made famous by Britney. The only item missing from Louisa’s ensemble was the large yellow snake that Britney wrapped around her shoulders during the show at the MTV Music Video Awards in 2001.
The blonde beauty displayed her incredibly taut stomach in a tiny green top embedded with a glitzy silver and pink gem at its centre.She coupled the bralet with equally tiny hot pants covered in gems and glammed up with bright blue chiffon tassles just like those worn by the Hit Me Baby One More Time songstress 16 years ago.
Her ensemble made the most of her incredible abs – with the tiny crop top, in its bra style, showing off all aspects of her stunning frame to perfection, while her legs were also of full show.

Olivia meanwhile was looking amazing in her mermaid ensemble complete with a mass of PVC and a wonderfully intricate head dress and painstakingly applied make-up and jewels across her face and chest.
The Love Island star was joined by her hunky fiancé Alex Bowen who kept the style going in a Zombie-pirate costume, under which he could not resist displaying his taut abs, which were further highlighted by the fake blood splattered along his chest.
She sported a lengthy brunette wig with ombre ends which tickled her waist in length, while she perfected the look with an elaborate head dress which added to the dramatic style.
