Now Aldi is set for Prime Energy stampede: Budget supermarket strikes a deal to sell £1.99 viral drink created by YouTube stars – after bottles appeared on eBay for £300
Drinks-brand Prime Energy, which was created and popularised by YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul, is set to go on sale in Aldi stores – after the chain struck a lucrative deal.
The discount supermarket chain will be selling the drink for £1.99 across the UK – but some people have been selling them on eBay for £300.
The product is an Aldi specialbuy, which means they are unique to their customers and once they are sold out they will not be restocked.
Prime Energy drinks are expected to sell out so in a bid to keep up with demand customers will also be limited to just one of each of the three available flavours.

Advertised as a ‘hydration drink’, Prime contains mostly water added with vitamins and minerals and has few calories with no added sugar.
It mostly contains water and coconut water and does not contain any caffeine in it.
Children as young as ten have been threatened in playgrounds and punched in order to force them to hand over bottles of Prime.
Such is demand that youngsters are pestering parents to travel long distances to get their hands on the drink, which comes in seven different flavours, with some touring hundreds of miles during fruitless hunts.
Supermarkets in the UK have also been struggling to keep up with demand for the drink and are now only allowing customers to buy three bottles at a time.
In November a 17-year-old was arrested in Ashford, Kent, for attempting to shoplift a case of the drinks from an Asda store.
KSI and Logan Paul, who have become multimillionaires on the back of their YouTube fame, have promoted the drink around high-profile celebrity boxing bouts in the UK.

Demand for the drinks is massively outpacing supply as youngsters try to emulate their social media heroes.
Currently Prime is only sold through Asda outlets in the UK, but sales have been so strong that the supermarket has been rationing purchases to no more than three per customer.
And youngsters who manage to get their hands on a bottle are being bullied, mugged and robbed for them.
Logan Paul and KSI have a large young fan base with more than 50million YouTube subscribers between them.
They were known as boxing rivals whose matches drew in millions of viewers and streamers online.
The pair put their rivalry aside to go on a business venture and launched Prime in September.
