The 23-year-old, who is called Sophie but who goes by the Aussie Rapunzel on TikTok, said ‘oiling’ your hair with either Argan, Marula or Moroccan oil every evening will give you myriad benefits.
‘The best hair habit I’ve ever adopted – try oiling for a whole month and the difference will be amazing,’ Sophie captioned a recent video.

Sophie said the benefits of oiling your hair include hydrating the hair and in turn making it healthier, detangling it – which means less breakage and split ends – and making it shinier, which she said means ‘more compliments’.
‘Apply oils such as Argan, Moroccan and Marula to your ends every night before bed,’ Sophie added.
You only need a couple of drops and should avoid your roots in order to stop your hair from looking greasy.

When it comes to her favourite oils for the hair, Sophie said while all sorts including grapeseed, coconut and castor are good, there is nothing better than rosemary oil.
The idea that rosemary oil encourages hair growth comes from the fact it has anti-inflammatory properties, promotes nerve growth and improves circulation.
The 23-year-old also performs a ‘rosemary rinse’ every now and then to encourage hair growth.
To recreate the rinse for yourself, she recommends you add some sprigs of rosemary to a pan with boiling water and boil them together for 10 minutes.
If you want, you can add a few drops of rosemary oil to assist the mix.

Once this is done, she said you should pour it into a jug or container, let it cool and then bring it into the shower.
‘Do your shampoo and conditioner as normal, add the rosemary rinse through your hair and don’t wash it out,’ the Aussie Rapunzel said.
‘The results are soft hair and hair growth. It’s easy to do and completely natural!’

Previously, the Aussie Rapunzel revealed the secrets to her healthy, shiny locks.
The 23-year-old said she goes through a series of steps every night to ensure her long hair always looks its best.
She starts by using a de-tangling hairbrush to get rid of any knots in her hair.
Following this, she said she applies some Argan oil to the tips of her hair, as it helps to de-tangle and makes it easier to brush her long locks.
The Aussie Rapunzel favours Argan oil by O&M ($37.95), which promises to ‘minimise frizzy fly-aways and smooth down hair for a sleek, polished look’.
She explained she always puts her hair in a plait before going to bed, as this helps to keep it contained throughout the night.
She also sleeps on silk pillowcases, which are known to help with hair breakage and assist in keeping your hair soft and shiny.
