Matt Preston discusses that feud with Marco Pierre White

The MasterChef judge found himself in a fiery feud with chef Marco Pierre White in May after slamming his 22-year-old son in a radio interview.

Matt Preston offended the father by labeling Marco Pierre White Jr a ‘London trust fund babe’ and discussing his drug habits and facial tattoos with radio co-hosts.

But while the chef vowed revenge on the TV star, the 53-year-old did little to fuel the fire at the time, now revealing to Stellar it was intentional: ‘I don’t want to get involved in a street fight.’

At the time, Matt said: ‘Anyone who’s got tattoos on their face normally behave badly, don’t they?’

When asked if he was shocked Marco Jr had spent more than $500,000 on drugs, he added: ‘That’s that whole rich, London… trustifarian-type stuff – it’s another world.’
