Sydney socialite Hollie Nasser has faced a costly blow following her messy divorce with her ex-husband after she was forced to buy him out from their luxury home.

Details have emerged showing Ms Nasser is the sole name on the mortgage for the former couple’s luxury terrace in the inner city suburb of Paddington.

The three-bedroom home was purchased by the pair in 2018 with NAB finance for $2.2million.

However, Ms Nasser registered a mortgage from Prolend Solutions, showing a 12-month loan for $1,757,863 and her name only on the paperwork.

It is understood the loan has an interest rate of 9.99 per cent per annum, according to the Daily Telegraph property columnist Jonathan Chancellor.

Ms Nasser shocked the city’s eastern suburbs social clique in late 2021 when she announced she was dating her best friend Ellie’s investment banker husband Charlie Aitken.

Complicating things further was the fact Mr Aitken was in business with Ms Nasser’s husband Christopher.

Mr Nasser was a founding investor in Mr Aitken’s investment business Aitken Investment Management until he resigned as a director and investor in late 2021.

Ms Nasser and Mr Aitken spent several months in a so-called ‘love bubble’ before they split in early 2022.

The blonde beauty revealed she moved on from the high-profile split by sharing a selfie alongside her new boyfriend to Instagram on November 19.

In the loved-up photo, the mother-of-two is seen smiling as she embraced Citi banking executive James Hodgman and posed for the camera.

Ms Nasser recently praised Christopher Nasser, and revealed the pair were working together to co-parent their children despite filing an AVO against her estranged husband.

‘With regards to my private life; my focus is my daughters, I have chosen not to be in a relationship,’ Ms Nasser said in a statement to Sunday Confidential.

‘Chris has always been a loving and devoted father. We are working together to co-parent our children.’
