Inbaal Honigman said our personality types can be divided generally into four categories ‘temperamental, emotional, practical or intellectual, or to use their elemental synonyms – fiery, water, earthy or airy.’
‘Those characteristics show themselves in our astrological signs and have quite a noticeable influence on who we are during our holidays, a time when we are really free to be ourselves,’ she said.

‘Fire signs like Aries, Leo and Sagittarius love to keep active and need a holiday that gets them sweating. Water signs like Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces love a restful holiday surrounded by their favorite people.
‘Earth signs like Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn enjoy a vacation with a touch of luxury. Air signs like Gemini, Libra and Aquarius go for a break that challenges the mind.’
The celebrity astrologist has also detailed which signs should avoid traveling with each other.
Inbaal reveals why a ‘fiery’ Aries would be a mismatch for a ‘peaceful’ Cancer while on vacation, and how it could spell bad news for a holidaying Libra to team up with a ‘free-spirited’ Sagittarius.
With the help of rental property search engine Holidu, Inbaal has laid out the best destinations for each star sign and why they’re a perfect fit for you.

Holidu researchers picked London as it had more than 2,000 five star-rated ‘things to do’ based on Tripadvisor data.
Other destinations recommended were Rome, Paris, Kathmandu and Hanoi.
As for a travel buddy, Inbaal advises Aries not to pick a Cancer companion as they don’t like being ‘slowed down’ and the latter likes to ‘take things at their own pace.’

Taurus foodies should also consider New York, Tokyo, London and Singapore to satisfy their appetites.
But Inbaal says they should avoid traveling with Geminis as they never want to eat or sleep on vacations.

Other holiday recommendations were Reykjavik, Helsinki, Stockholm and Adelaide.
But what isn’t advised is traveling with an Aries.
‘Peaceful Cancer won’t be able to relax with the non-stop itinerary of activities that an Aries likes to bring on holiday,’ the celebrity astrologist added.

Inbaal says Leos also like to spend on holidays, so avoid traveling with Virgos who are known to be sensible with their money and likely won’t treat themselves to expensive treats.

Based on Virgos’ ‘appreciation of organization and structure,’ Holidu researchers found the cities with the best traffic efficiency and they landed on Hanover.
Other cities on the list were Basel, Frankfurt, Malaga and Dakar.
To enjoy the best of Hanover, Inbaal says Virgos should avoid traveling with Leos who would favor modern sights, while the former likes to ‘see all the oldest antiques.’

Holidu researchers determined that London made the cut as they searched for the city that had the highest number of Instagram photos, and the destination was appealing due to ‘its blend of ornate, historical buildings and looming, modern structures, not to mention the quintessential red phoneboxes and open-top buses.’
‘Other Instagram-worthy sites in the iconic city include Columbia Road Flower Market, Notting Hill, and the breathtaking views from its many skyscrapers,’ they said.
Outside of London, Paris, Istanbul, New York and Dubai also had the next highest amount of Instagram hashtags.
With Libra travelers liking to ‘dress up and go out on the town,’ they should avoid sticking with ‘free-spirited Sagittarius’ holiday-goers as they want to ‘spend the day in a swimsuit.’

To get the most out of your vacation, Sagittarius jetsetters ‘will make friends with all locals,’ so avoid traveling with Libras who take time to ‘warm to others.’

‘Being home to the largest river and perhaps the most well-known rainforest in the world, it might not come as a surprise that Brazil came out on top for Pisces,’ researchers said.
‘The South American country was closely followed by Canada, which is considered a freshwater-rich country, discharging close to 9% of the world’s renewable water supply whilst also boasting the longest coastline of any country in the world.’
These top two destinations were followed by the US, China and Colombia.
Pisces travelers like to ‘stick with familiar sights and sounds,’ so they should avoid Aquarius companions who want to ‘explore the unexpected.’
