Pool safety laws in Australia:

* The gate must open away from the pool and never be propped open, it must also be self-closing from any position and self-latching. There can be no climbable objects near the fence.

* You must display a CPR sign prominently in the pool area.

* You cannot have a door access the pool from the house. Any windows around the pool must not open more than 100mm

* Before selling, leasing or renting a property with a pool, you must obtain a pool safety certificate.

‘We have one. Love it. Good for a quick dip to cool down or sit in and have a beer on the weekend. Doesn’t take a lot of water so can easily empty and refill if needed,’ one woman said.

‘They are awesome I love mine,’ another wrote.

Another person said the ‘absolute best’ place to set it up is the living room to keep cool inside during the Summer.

However, several warned that the pool would need a fence around it as it is over 30cm.

‘Pretty certain it would require a pool fence in all honesty. So might be cheap. But the headache and expense, is costly. So think before you buy. Children safety first always,’ one woman said.
