Parents are obsessed with this enormous ‘magical’ new indoor play centre: ‘It’s like a palace, a whole new world’
- Planet Mino is Sydney’s most popular indoor play centre
- The chain opened their second branch in Westfield Warringah Mall
Australian parents are obsessed with a new indoor play centre that has opened on Sydney’s Northern Shore.
The wildly popular Planet Mino opened its second branch in Westfield Warringah Mall in December.
The flagmark centre opened in Chatswood several years ago and it has become a favourite for families with young kids due to the fact parents enjoy the atmosphere ‘just as much’ as kids.
The new spaceship themed play centre caters for children aged 10 and under. It has multiple playgrounds, ball pits, giant slides, a variety of play toys, rideable toy cars, and even augmented reality play walls.
It also has interactive play areas where kids can imitate real life activities, such as working or shopping in a pet shop, supermarket, sushi restaurant and beauty salon.

The price of entry varies depending on the age of the child.
A child under 12 months can stay for as long as they like for $12.50, children between one and two may visit for $14.50 per hour, or $45 for the day, and children aged three and above can play for $16.50 for an hour or $52 for the day.
The play area is open from 9am to 4pm during the week and 9am to 5pm from Friday to Sunday.
Planet Mino has also been praised for its well-stocked café with drinks, snacks, and meal options for the parents to recharge.
The Warringah location offers pork katsu burgers, house burgers, fish and chips, toasties, nuggets, chips and pasta.

‘Don’t forget to check out the café food! They do amazing food and super friendly price,’ one woman wrote.
The centre offers different packages for parties, including venue hire and specific party packages.
Planet Mino have warned that kids must bring grippy socks to wear in the play area.
Parents who have had the opportunity to visit the new indoor centre rave about it.
‘I brought the family on a weekday which was incredibly quiet and cheap in my opinion. It was super clean and staff were cleaning up constantly,’ one man said.

‘I think Planet Mino is not given enough credit for a safe and well done play area but it was enjoyable even for adults to act like kids with their kids.’
Many other parents also commented on the cleanliness of the centre. Planet Mino has explained they follow a rigorous cleaning schedule and have an industrial ball pit cleaning machine.
‘It’s the ideal place for the kids to enjoy the school holiday. The atmosphere is amazing with all the brand new facilities, very clean and tidy, and the friendly staff tidy up all the time of the misplaced toys, very recommended place in local area,’ one man said.
