Pink, who is gearing up for her Trustfall tour later this year, told TODAY: ‘Willow has a job on tour. We just had to go over minimum wage and it’s different state to state.’

She continued: ‘I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over.

‘She goes, “I’ll take $20. it’s easier to do the math.”

‘I’m like “That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.” I’m like, “You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math.”‘

The singer, who also has a six-year-old son Jameson, has never attempted to shield her children from the limelight.

Pink regularly makes appearances on the red-carpet alongside husband Carey Hart, 47, and their brood – as well as frequently sharing insight into their family life on social media.

And it seems Willow is on track to take the music baton from her popstar mother.

In December 2022, Pink shared a video of the budding star as she took part in her very first recital, during which she performed The Rose Song by Olivia Rodrigo.

She recorded the entire performance and gushed over the mini-me, who has clearly inherited her mother’s love for singing.

‘This 11 year old (11,000 year old soul) blows me away,’ the Just Like Fire singer wrote in the caption of the video. The mother-of-two additionally added a sweet message onto the clip itself, adding, ‘So proud of this girl (first recital) nailed it.’

Even as early as 2021, when Willow was just nine years old, her path into the industry was seemingly decided when she joined Pink on stage at the Billboard Music Awards.

The mother-daughter duo took to the stage to perform special stunts together for their Cover Me In Sunshine performance.

Pink and Willow flaunted their acrobatic skills as they clung to rope swings and twirled high above the stage before being heaped with praise from their celebrity audience.

During her recent TODAY interview, Pink went on to reveal how the the song Turbulence on her latest album, which is her ninth, speaks directly to the idea of mental health journeys – partly inspired by her daughter.

The song’s lyrics include: ‘If you’re alive, then it means that you’re committed to survive.’

‘I hate telling people what a song is about because it’s whatever it’s about for you.

‘But for me, it’s just speaking to anxiety and walking my daughter through it and down that road,’ she said, referring to Willow.

As a result, Pink’s favorite lyric in Turbulence speaks to the relationship between someone experiencing mental health difficulties and their loved ones: ‘Even you say you can’t, I will watch you dance through this turbulence.’

Pink has previously opened up about her own experiences with anxiety in her early 20s.

‘I used to get pretty awful panic attacks and I didn’t know what was happening. I didn’t have anybody to talk to about it and I didn’t know what to do,’ the singer said in a video on Instagram last year.

‘I would feel like I was having strokes, like, stroke symptoms, it was terrifying.’

She said writing songs was one of the things that ‘saved her life’ during that time.

Pink’s tour will kick off in the UK. Her first stop in the US will be on July 26 in Cincinnati, Ohio, with dates through March 2024.
