Jenna Bush Hager films her CHAOTIC dash to the Today studio after getting stuck on a delayed train

Jenna Bush Hager gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her rush to the studio on Thursday after a delayed train in Philadelphia almost caused her to miss the Today show.

The 41-year-old host documented her morning travels on Instagram after arriving in New York City and finding herself stuck in traffic less than an hour before she was supposed to be live on air.

‘Get ready with me train delay edition!’ she captioned the video, which showed her bare-faced and bundled up in a winter parka while being driven to Rockefeller Plaza.

‘Hello. It’s 9:16. I’m stuck in traffic. I was in Philadelphia. I took a train, which was delayed,’ she explained. ‘The show starts, to my knowledge, at 10, less than 45 [minutes]. Say a prayer.’

The footage then cut to her inside NBC Studio 1A, where she gave a quick update during her mad dash to get ready on time.

‘It’s 9:40. Twenty minutes ’til air time,’ Bush Hager said as her stylist prepped her blonde hair. She gave a special shoutout to her hair and makeup team who did her ‘glam in 10 minutes.’

With roughly 10 minutes to go, she changed out of her cherry red cardigan and slipped into a dark long-sleeve dress and black booties.

Bush Hager was right on time when she walked out on stage with Sheinelle Jones, who was filling in her Hoda Kotb during the show’s fourth hour.

After they sat down, she opened up about her hectic morning and how she ultimately decided to go with the flow instead of panicking.

‘The train continued to get delayed, and delayed, and delayed, and I was like, “Uh oh,”‘ she told Jones. ‘Should I get out of Newark and take an Uber? What should I do?’

‘What did you do?’ her co-star asked.

‘Well, I just thought about my girl Hoda. And you know what she’s doing? She’s rolling with it,’ Bush Hager explained. ‘I thought, “What’s the worst thing that’s gonna happen?”‘

Jones praised her for keeping calm during the stressful moment while noting that she made it on time anyway.

‘I just had a sip of my coffee, I listened to some Taylor Swift, and here I am,’ Bush Hager agreed.

The former first daughter shared a similar sentiment when she captioned her getting ready video on Thursday, writing, ‘Running on [coffee emoji], running on Tswift.’

Bush Hager may have been able to keep her cool because this wasn’t the first time a Today star almost missed the show.

Back in August, co-anchor Savannah Guthrie overslept and only made it to the studio 20 minutes before she was due to be on air.

Like Bush Hager, she also documented her rush to the studio on Instagram, starting with a makeup-free selfie that was taken in the car.

‘Overslept big time,’ she wrote. ‘It’s 6:34 a.m. and I’m still in the car.’

Guthrie’s glam squad was able to get her ready in just 14 minutes, and by 6:54 a.m. she was sitting on stage, ready for the 7 a.m. broadcast.

‘This is a miracle,’ she joked as she joined her fellow hosts in front of the cameras. ‘I’m gonna make it!’
