The GOOP founder was seen with little makeup on and her nerd glasses in place as she leaned her head on Chris Martin.
The Oscar-winner was wishing her former spouse a happy 46th birthday.
And the Shakespeare In Love star gushed over her former flame who she was wed to from 2003 until 2016.
‘Happy birthday to the sweetest father and friend❤️we love you, cajm,’ she said in her caption.

The stars also have two children together: 18-year-old Apple and 16-year-old Moses.
In March 2014 the pair separated.
Paltrow and Martin shocked fans when they announced they were splitting up in a post on the Goop website titled Conscious Uncoupling.
‘It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,’ the pair wrote.
But since that split they seem to have become close friends, even vacationing together with her new husband Brad Falchuk and his steady love, Dakota Johnson who is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.
In 2019 she said that she and Chris were always meant to be together.
The Duets actress told the Evening Standard: ‘We were separated for a year before we announced we were separated.
‘We kept it very quiet, and in that time I asked adult friends with divorced parents what they remembered.
‘There was this resounding theme: “It was really hard because for the first two years my parents didn’t speak. It was awful for a while,” or “My parents hated each other.”

Captioning a photo of Falchuk in a dapper white cardigan, Paltrow wrote: ‘He won’t see this as he’s not on social (another reason why he’s so cool) but let’s all wish him a happy birthday, anyway.’
Gwyneth christened her message with a blue heart emoji and her celebrity friends quickly sent Brad their well-wishes in the comments section.
‘Happy Birthday, HOTNESS,’ wrote Chelsea Handler, while Jessica Seinfeld declared, ‘No one wears a shawl collar like this man.’

Recent rough patch? The Shakespeare in Love star wed Falchuk in 2018 and the pair recently weathered some rumors in November that their marriage had a ‘hit a rough patch’
Prior to starting a family with Martin, Paltrow embarked on a tumultuous romance with fellow Oscar winner Ben Affleck, 50, back in his heyday as a heartthrob during the late ’90s.
The pair met in 1997 at a Hollywood dinner party for the now-infamous Miramax, which was the domain of Harvey Weinstein at the time.
Paltrow would later become a critical source to go on record and expose the tyrannical producer as a sexual predator, detailing his harassment of her when she was in a serious relationship with Brad Pitt, 59.
But Brad was before Ben and Gwyneth’s on-again, off-again relationship with the Gone Girl star ended for good in 2000 after they co-starred in the romantic drama film Bounce.
In her first high-profile relationship, Paltrow and Pitt’s three-year relationship ended in a broken engagement.
