So it was surprising to see Harrison Boon and Bronte Schofield putting on a rare public display of affection as they stepped out for a stroll during filming last year.
They looked like any ordinary couple as they held hands and giggled while walking around Sydney’s CBD, in photos taken on September 29.
Despite having a rocky relationship on the show, Bronte, 28, sported a beaming smile as she laughed along to something Harrison, 32, said.
They both dressed casually for the outing, with Bronte donning a tight black romper with an oversized grey blazer.

She added beige and black slides and accessorised with a Louis Vuitton bag and cat-eye sunglasses.
Bronte wore her long, dark hair down and opted for natural-look makeup.
Harrison looked like the cat who got the cream as he grinned next to his wife in black workout shorts and a matching T-shirt.
He wore a backwards-facing cap and kept comfy on his feet with white Nike trainers.

But in recent episodes, the pair appear to be getting along much better.
Bronte was unable to make the show’s last commitment ceremony due to her endometriosis, leaving her husband to deliver both their decisions alone.
Harrison became visibly upset while speaking about Bronte’s pain and ‘what women [with endometriosis] have to go through’; however, relationship expert John Aiken was unconvinced by his display of emotion, saying it seemed insincere.
