Billionaire heiress Georgia Geminder announces she’s expecting first child

Melbourne ‘It girl’ Georgia Geminder and investment director Matthew Danos are expecting their first child.

Georgia, 28, shared the good news in a social media post this weekend, showing off her baby bump in a sweet selfie.

‘We are over the moon,’ the heiress wrote alongside the image, which showed her cradling her belly in a blush pink dress.

The baby news comes just three months after the couple tied the knot in an opulent society wedding in December.

The event took place in the ritzy suburb of Kew, and was a traditional Jewish ceremony followed by a black tie reception inside a marquee at Raheen, the Pratt family mansion.

Georgia, who is the model granddaughter of Australia’s late ‘Cardboard King’ Richard Pratt and eldest daughter of billionaire packaging magnates Raphael and Fiona Geminder, looked like modern day princess in a beaded strapless fishtail gown with matching gloves and a tiara.

She accessorised her look with a diamond and sapphire choker necklace, drop earrings and a dramatic ivory veil.

Proving that less is more, the heiress opted for an understated makeup look consisting of foundation and mascara.

The glamorous toothpaste company owner wore two dresses on her big day, changing into a feather-covered mini dress for the reception.

For accessories, the blushing bride wore an elegant diamond tennis bracelet and chunky nude heels.

Matthew meanwhile looked sharp during his trip down the aisle, wearing a white blazer, black suit pants and black bow tie.

Georgia and Matthew married under a large outdoor chuppah (a Jewish wedding canopy) surrounded by friends and family.

The aisle was made from a reflective surface that imitated water and surrounded by bunches of white roses.

A leaked wedding invitation reveals the couple asked guests to make a donation to a specified charity, rather than bringing gifts.
