The news was revealed on the official Queer Eye Instagram and hosts Tan France and Jonathan Van Ness mourned the loss of their friend, who appeared on the Netflix reboot’s first episode in 2018.

Jackson’s obituary says that he passed away on Friday, March 3 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, where he spent his final days surrounded by family.
