Aaron Rodgers ‘has given the Jets a wish list of free agents he’d like them to get including Odell Beckham Jr.’ after reports New York were eyeing Allen Lazard – as possible Packers exit gathers pace

The New York Jets are set to push to sign wide receivers Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard and Odell Beckham Jr., as well as tight-end Marcedes Lewis, after Aaron Rodgers gave the franchise a wish-list of free agents that he would like them to acquire.

Dianna Russini, of ESPN, confirmed the Jets’ offseason targets in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon, amid a possible trade for the Packers quarterback as his exit from Green Bay gathers space.

‘(Lazard) is a close friend of Aaron Rodgers and has been in touch with Rodgers recently. Much like everybody else, Allen Lazard is waiting to see what Aaron Rodgers is going to do,’ NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo said on Monday.

‘He’s got to make the call for his future and a long-term deal, potentially. He’d love to continue to play with Rodgers, potentially, if it lines up.’

Another NFL team is also in the race to sign Lazard, who had 169 catches in five seasons during his time on the Packers, including a career-high 60 receptions last season.
