Michael Jordan ‘is in talks to sell majority stake of Charlotte Hornets’ putting an end to his DISAPPOINTING 13-year tenure as owner

Charlotette Hornets owner Michael Jordan is engaged in serious talks to sekk a majority stake in the franchise to a group led by Hornets, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Jordann is said to be in talks to sell the stake in the team to a group led by Hornets minority owner Gabe Plotkin and Atlanta Hawks minority owner Rick Schnall. 

Selling a majority share of the Hornets would mark the end of Jordan’s 13-year run as owner. He paid $275 million for a majority stake in the franchise in 2019. 

If a sale is completed Jordan is expected to remain with the team as a minority owner. 

Jordan is considered by many to be the greatest NBA player in the sport’s history and has been the only black majority owner in the league.
