A groom has been fiercely criticized for his vulgar wedding vows in which he told his wife to ‘keep my belly full and my balls empty.’
Photographer Jonathan Pajak shared a clip to TikTok that showed Michael and Destiny Lentini at their wedding in Plant City, Florida.
The groom shocked guests at the ceremony when he gave the speech which even included references to ‘gagging and headboard slamming.’
And social media users rushed to the comments as they slammed Michael for his ‘humiliating’ vows – but wife Destiny has since leapt to his defense, arguing ‘I knew what I was getting myself into’ and claiming her husband is ‘too good for her.’

In the clip, which has so far been viewed more than 18.7 million times, Jonathan spoke to camera as he gave viewers an introduction to the scenario.
He revealed that earlier in the day the groom was asked if there was anything he wanted to say to his future bride, to which Michael replied: ‘I hope we have a lot of sex. A lot.’
Speaking directly to camera once again, the photographer joked that alone should have been a warning sign of things to come before cutting to a segment of the vows.
In it, Michael can be seen standing opposite Destiny as his own mother officiates.
The groom begins by looking up at his bride before whispering, ‘You’re screwed.’
He then reads his vows from a pre-prepared card as he says: ‘Only two things are required to keep me happy. Keep my belly full and my balls empty.’
The guests awkwardly laugh but Michael continues nonetheless.
‘Although you’re amazing at half of it, we really need to get you some cooking lessons.

During the speech Destiny covered her face in shock, giggled with apparent embarrassment and looked toward the sky
Michael and Destiny have known each other since 2010, started dating in 2013, and got engaged in 2016
‘Even when my belly isn’t full there is no one I could love more in this lifetime unless I actually get a chance to meet Margot Robbie.
‘Since the beginning I was always told life gets even better when the kids fall asleep and you tell me to come to the bedroom.
‘Nothing is better than the sound of gagging and headboard slamming.’
At this point, the sentiment appears to be too much for his mother who shakes her head and firmly calls his name in an attempt to intervene.
But undeterred by her objections Michael continues.
‘PS, since you’re so good at making decisions like marrying me, you can choose whether tonight’s going to end with being a toaster strudel or a Twinkie,’ he concludes.
Destiny covers her face in shock and giggles with apparent embarrassment as onlookers nervously laugh.
Michael blows her an exaggerated kiss before his mother interrupts: ‘Being that I am his mom I will deal with him later, he is grounded.’
Jonathan uploaded the clip alongside a caption that read: ‘You’re not gonna believe what he said in his vows.’
Despite the uproar, Destiny herself has hit back at the negativity as she rushed to defend her husband’s actions
And social media users rushed to the comments as they slammed Michael for his ‘humiliating’ vows
And social media users were quick to flood the comments.
One user wrote: ‘My jaw was on the FLOOR… is this real? Immediately no.’
Another added: ‘I’d leave him at the aisle. Saying that with just me and him is already sad/disappointing but IN FRONT OF MY FAMILY? Mortified and ashamed.’
And a third commented: ‘I can’t even imagine thinking that’s acceptable to say at your wedding, and then he didn’t even attempt to memorize it at all on top of that.’
But despite the uproar, Destiny herself has hit back at the negativity as she rushed to defend her husband’s actions.
In her own TikTok video, she speaks directly to camera as she revealed: ‘I’m that bride.’
The newly-wed continues: ‘So with that being said, yes I’m happy, yes I’m still married, yes I loved my wedding, and there is nothing that I would have changed.
‘I loved his vows, I loved my vows, I loved our wedding day.
She spoke to camera and said: ‘I knew what I was getting myself into when we started dating and before we got married considering we’ve been together for 10 years now’
‘His vows showed a piece of his personality which is the humor side – which is definitely Michael. My vows showed a little bit of my personality which is not outspoken like Michael.
‘Very [much] two opposites and yet we go together so damn well.’
‘I have known him since 2010, this is how he was since then. We started dating in 2013, he was like this then. So I knew what I was getting myself into when we started dating and before we got married considering we’ve been together for 10 years now.
‘I’ve seen people say we have a toxic relationship and that we aren’t going to last… and honestly you can say what you want.
‘I know you’re wrong because I actually know my relationship, and I know myself, and I know Michael.
‘So I’m sorry if you’re just not that happy with your life. My life is very eventful all the time – there is never a dull moment in my relationship.’
She continues: ‘Michael is too good for me – I said that then when I met him, and I say that now, and I will say that until the day I die because like I said, you guys don’t truly know him so you don’t understand why or where I’m coming from when I say that.’
